COLORAMA, Weaving the sky between mineral and vegetable
At the crossroads of mineral and plant, this immersive installation deploys a network of multicolored silicone wires, connecting the galleries of a cloister to the two majestic trees in its garden. These aerial ribbons, moving and organic, transform the void into volume and the sky onto the surface, inviting us to look up and rediscover space in a different way.
The strength of the gesture lies in its simplicity and in its resonance with the place: the threads make up changing perspectives, abstract motifs seen from the galleries, a graphic sky seen from the garden. A restricted palette, inspired by the colors of the Memphis movement, accentuates this visual impact.
Playful, airy and contemplative, Colorama also plays on meaning: these intertwined threads symbolize a bond that unites without constraining, like these discreet but essential technical pieces that, in everyday life, protect and connect without ever being noticed.
The work was born from a collaboration between an industrialist and an artist, according to the founding principle of L'Industrie Magnifique.
